Don Connolly, Partner at Alex Picot was elected as Honorary Treasurer in 2019 of the Jersey Branch of the MND Association.

Since then, he has taken up the role of Chairman of the charity and continues to oversee the fundraising and support provided to the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) community in Jersey.

MND describes a group of diseases that affect the nerves (motor neurones) in the brain and spinal cord that tell your muscles what to do and the Jersey group is an affiliate organisation run entirely by volunteers providing the best possible support to locals with MND, their families and carers.

Don has been closely linked to the charity since his mother’s diagnosis with the disease in 2005.
