Don Connolly | Partner

Bio

Don was born in Cork, Ireland in 1976 and studied accountancy there for three years before moving to Jersey and joining Alex Picot in 1997.

Having completed his training, he was appointed audit manager in 2004 and became a partner of the firm in 2007. Don is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is responsible for a wide variety of accountancy and audit clients.  These include many local individuals, businesses and groups, investment structures and trust companies.  Don is able to advise on all aspects of Jersey taxation and has in-depth knowledge of charity and not-for-profit organisation reporting requirements.

He became Treasurer of the Motor Neurone Disease Association Jersey Branch in 2019, bringing with him a deep personal commitment to the cause, In May 2023 he was appointed Chair of the branch, reflecting his ongoing dedication to supporting individuals and families affected by motor neurone disease. 

Don is married to Kelly and they have two daughters, Grace and Belle. Outside of work, Don has a keen interest in motorsport and music, and enjoys long-distance running in his spare time.
