Round the Rock Ultra Marathon

On Saturday the Alex Picot Coast Busters relay team - Don Connolly, Cameron Purcell, Emily Mclaughlin, Haley O'Brien and Tom De La Cour - set off for what turned out to be an extremely gruelling Greenlight: Round The Rock UltraMarathon.

With temperatures hitting 25 degrees, only three quarters of the starting field made it to the finish line.

Spencer Wooley, who ran the whole 48 miles, finished in a very respectable time of 10hrs22:14.  The relay team finished in under the 10 hour mark and were awarded silver medals.

We are very proud of everyone for such an amazing effort and for raising money for two great charities - Autism Jersey and Headway Jersey.
