Defibrilator Training14th Apr, 2016
In April 2016 we took delivery of a AED defibrilator and ten of our staff received training on how to use it together with basic life support skills. We sincerely hope that we will never have to use it but now if the need arises, we are prepared #savealife.
Defibrillation, which is an electric shock to restart the heart to a normal rhythm, can significantly increase the chance of survival.
It is imperative to act quickly when someone is having a cardiac arrest; every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces someone’s chance of survival by 10%.
