Colour Run in aid of Family Nursing and Home Care

5th Jun, 2016

The team were out in force to support the Dandara Colour Fun Run in aid of Family Nursing and Home Care.

Runners ran for 5 kilometres across St Aubin's Bay to raise money to help funding of frontline services that are essential to the lives of all islanders, from birth to end of life.

Colour runs have become one of the most popular mass participant events around the world, with over 300 events held in 50 countries each year. The untimed event has no winners or prizes. Instead runners are showered with coloured paint, made of food-grade corn starch, at designated stations along the run. Competitors arrive at the start line dressed in plain white clothing, and finish the run covered in different colours!
