Proposed tax changes for wealthy residents.

Jersey seeks to attract more wealthy residents and increase inward investment.

As announced in last year's Budget, Jersey's Treasury Minister has lodged amendments to the tax laws for new wealthy  residents (known locally as 1.1(k)'s).

If appproved by the States, the new regime will simplify the tax structure for high net worth individuals moving to the Island and should encourage them to bring their businesses and investment to Jersey, creating jobs and boosting economic activity.
