David was our Senior Partner, having worked for the Alex Picot
Group for over forty years, and an active and respected member of
our community.
Born in Jersey and educated at Victoria College, David joined Alex
Picot in 1970, qualified in 1975 and became a partner in 1978. He
was responsible for company and trust administration and also local
accounting and auditing. He was also a past chairman of the Jersey
Association of Practising Chartered and Certified
Accountants.
Not only did he work tirelessly in the office, but he was also
heavily involved with the Lions Club of Jersey, being a past
president, and took a great personal interest in one of its key
projects, the Maison des Landes Trust.
His other passion was for horses, and he competed as an amateur
jockey, was a previous Hunt Master of the Jersey Drag Hunt and
represented his Island at show jumping.
David will be greatly missed by everyone who was fortunate to
have known him.
