Jersey Swimarathon 2010

Alex Picot was again a major participant in the annual Jersey Swimarathon on Saturday 6th March.

The Swimarathon is one of the major fundraising events on the Jersey calendar and is organised by the Lions Club of Jersey, of which our Senior Partner, David Picot, is an ex-Chairman and remains a keen supporter.

Our three teams comprising of 18 swimmers, cheered on by an enthusiastic band of supporters, raised almost £1000 for local Lions Club supported charities.

This year was the 39th consecutive event, over which time the participants have raised well in excess of £2 million. Alex Picot are proud to have supported every one of the events since it’s inauguration in 1972, contributing over £20,000.
